Registration numbers cannot be
imported if animal ID numbers are not in the prescribed HHHHYY-SSSS
format. For instance if the "-" character is missing, this is a deviation
from the prescribed ID number format. Solved this problem by allowing the
ID number format to be specified using Function HAH - ID number format.
Here you can indicate your specific ID number format which is then used in
the importing of registration numbers.

Corrected a problem where the
dam mass at wean were not included in the electronic version of the birth
notification. This only affected breeds registering with S.A. Studbook.
2. Number of copies
Various functions
Various functions in StudMaster
prompted for the number of copies printed when pressing Alt-P. All these
were removed. Some printers went mad when it was processing one print job
and another came in to quickly.

Wanneer nuwe geboortes
elektronies by S.A. Stamboek ingedien word, voorsien Stamboek 'n
resultaatlęer met die registrasienommers van die aanvaarde geboortes,
hetsy per epos of Logix. Hierdie lęer word dan na u rekenaar gekopieer
vanwaar dit in StoetMeester ingelees kan word.
In die verlede moes die lęernaam
in detail getik word om dit te kon inlees. Hierdie proses was omslagtig
omdat 'n enkele karakter wat verkeerd ingetik word, gemaak het dat die
inlees nie suksesvol was nie.
In teenstelling met bogenoemde,
vertoon StoetMeester nou 'n lys van lęername waarmee die lęer wat ingelees
moet word, gekies word. Geen tikwerk is dus meer nodig nie.

Fout reggestel waar die naam van
die dier nie korrek vooraf ingevul was nie. Hierdie probleem het vir alle

a new font called "Base Narrow" to enhance the printing of condensed
printing from StudMaster to any USB connected printer. This font creates
a report a bit larger in height and still fit 130 columns per page
width.

"Data width error" when importing blup results from the ARC. Problem
occurred when for the first time, animals appeared with 100% accuracies.
Up to this stage StudMaster only allowed accuracies up to 99%.

Automated the
process of sending email. Available for birth notifications and submission
of weights. Just press Alt-F at the corresponding functions. A email
message will automatically be generated with the correct data attached.

"How mated"
or "Conceived By" code was printing incorrectly. Codes used to be
1=Natural, 2=Natural (Borrowed), 3=AI and 4=Embryo. Iris now accept
1=Natural, 2=AI and 3=Embryo. In StudMaster you keep on using the old
codes (1-4) but it will be converted to the new codes when the birth
notification are printed.

This is the directory where all

sending. The directory specified is now automatically created. In the past
a message was displayed if the directory did not exist. It was then

classing point for any cow and her calf and a short description. A cow can
be entered more than once as long as the classing date differs. Over years
the classing history of the animal can thus be observed.
